Opus Precision Instruments Pte Ltd was established in 1992 and started off as a local distributor for all kinds of precision measuring instruments. To fulfill every customers need, Opus has offer a wide range of products from micrometer, caliper, height gauge, thread/plain plug gauge, microscope to video measuring systems , CMMs and many others. Opus is constantly reviewing its product and services to meet the market demands. Thus, in 2004, Opus established a metrology laboratory in Ubi Crescent for calibration of dimensional and force measuring instruments. On top of that, the company also provide repair services for electronics, dimensional, force and temperature measuring instrument.

The metrology laboratory is equipped with the latest high precision measuring to ensure accuracy and reliability. The laboratory quality system and documentation have been assessed and accredited by the Singapore Accreditation Council for ISO/IEC 17025. The facts that the Precision Measurement Equipment being serviced is critical to the customer’s quality and production goals, calibrations are performed in strict compliance with ISO/IEC 17025. In addition, calibration equipments are constantly sent for proficiency tests to validate the calibration methods and measurement uncertainty. Opus business network is expanding rapidly in South East Asia such as Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, China, etc.
